I want to start this article with an apology for not being as regular as I would have liked. There are a few reasons for it, but here are some:

  1. Traveling through Mexico actually turned out to be more difficult without a car, so getting to places was a bit more logistics than I had planned.
  2. I started this trip traveling with a friend, and jumping from city to city was hard on my mental fatigue.
  3. Once I was alone, I had to get used to traveling alone and let me tell you, it’s not easy every day.
  4. There are actually fewer themed experiences than I thought, and to get to those that do exist, I’d need a much bigger travel budget than I have.
  5. Traveling to remote places—where some excellent experiences are located—is expensive and time-consuming. I never thought it would be so hard and long to get from one place to another. I guess that’s my learning curve!!
  6. My procrastination monster (thanks, #TimUrban) took over the wheel for so long, even though my day job did keep me busy over these past few months. Since COVID, I promised never to complain about having too much work, and I had a hard time upholding that promise during these past months.

But this is all in the past! I’ve decided to kick my procrastination monster in the butt and get started with sharing my discoveries of incredible attractions and experiences in Latin America.

I traveled through Mexico (Yucatan, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Sayulita, Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Escondido), Argentina (Ushuaia, Buenos Aires, Salta), Uruguay (Road trip to inland cities, Punta del Este, Punta Del Diablo). We are in April and are four months into my 16-month adventure without one post… All I can say for myself is that I am not perfect!

But let’s get onto it! I have a few experiences I want to present 😊
